<p>Premier Division</p>
<p>Top of the table Leek won their fourth game of the season, when they beat Burslem by five wickets. Greg Willott took 8-39 as Leek dismissed Burlsem for 87. In reply Rob Haydon (31no) and Willott (25no) then saw the away side over the line.</p>
<p>Checkley moved up into second beating Hem Heath by 29 runs at home. Checkley got off to a poor start and found themselves 2-2 but Daniel Spasic (63), with others chipping in, managed to set Hem Heath 135 to win. Checkley then took regular wickets as Hem Heath were restricted to 105 all out, Jason Brown taking 6-44.<span id="more-1645"></span></p>
<p>Porthill Park picked up 20 points as they beat Knypersley by five wickets. Porthill’s Fahad Masood took his first five wicket haul of the season reducing Knypersley to 108 all out. Sohail Zaroof (44) then top scored as Porthill chased down the total in 34 overs.</p>
<p>Longton also won batting second, beating Stone by three wickets. Craig Barker (6-50) took his best figures of the year as Stone were all out for 104, Richard Harvey top scored with 30. Longton then stuttered over the line with three wickets in hand.</p>
<p>Shaun Jenkinson set up a winning total for Cheadle as they beat Little Stoke 102 runs. Jenkinson hit 67 for Cheadle as they reached 150-9 from their 55 overs, Daniel Colclough was the pick of the bowlers claiming 5-56. In reply Little Stoke collapsed to 48 all out, James Sellers taking 5-19.</p>
<p>Wood Lane dominated Audley at home beating them by seven wickets. The home side dismissed Audley for 99, Asad Ali taking 4-45. In the second innings Jamie Jervis hit 65 and Daniel Brierley26 not as Wood Lane passed Audley score in the 28th over.</p>
<p>Division One</p>
<p>Whitmore sit at the top of the table after they beat Elworth comfortably by nine wickets. It took Imran Arif (5-15) and Raza Hassan (5-11) 26.4 overs to bowl Elworth out for 28. Whitmore then knocked off the total in nine overs.</p>
<p>Chisti Iqbal’s hat trick helped Meir Heath pick up the full 25 points in a low scoring affair against Leycett. Ali Kahan (7-43) helped Leycett reduce Meir Heath to 86 all out and they looked in the stronger position in the second innings at 48-5, until Iqbal (6-26) struck with his hat trick and the innings collapsed to 73 all out.</p>
<p>Blythe moved into third place beating Barlaston by three wickets. Aqab Ahmed’s (6-55) best bowling figures of the season helped Blythe restrict the home side to 132 all out, Alex Thorley top scoring with 40. In reply Blythe lost regular wickets, Abdur Khan taking all seven but Blythe stuttered over the line in the 38th over.</p>
<p>Silverdale picked up a much needed 25 points as Moddershall experienced a batting collapse. Mitchell Stokes struck 94 which included five sixes and was the mainstay of the Silverdale innings as they set Moddershall 163 to win. Glynn Moore then took figures of 6-27 in the second innings as Matt Goodwin (44no) was the only Moddershall batsmen to put up any resistance against the Silverdale bowling attack as they were all out for 87.</p>
<p>Meakin beat Sandyford by three wickets as they picked up the 20 points. Sandyford won the toss and decided to bat first. They managed to reach 129 all out, Dave Edwards was the pick of the bowlers for Meakin taking 6-45. In reply Meakin got off to a poor start at 1-2, but Qasim Sheikh (64) and Peter Wilshaw (22) steadied the innings and they got over the victory line in 52 overs.</p>
<p>Betley gained the winning draw against Norton. Zia Ur Rehmann smashed 109 not out off 75 balls for Betley as they set Meakin 2256 to win. Wimanga Perera then hit 100 in reply as Norton held on with one wicket in hand on 208.</p>
<p>Division Two</p>
<p>Newcastle &amp; Hartshill beat bottom of the table strugglers Oulton by five wickets, when Sathpath Kelum took 8-34 as Oulton were dismissed for 101. Jono Whalley top scored with 47 not out. Newcastle &amp; Hartshill then chased down the target in the 28th over.</p>
<p>Ashcombe Park lost ground on Newcastle &amp; Hartshill when they lost to Kidsgrove by five wickets. Ashcombe posted 198, Rizwan Haider top scored with 56 as Ian Bailey was the pick of the bowlers with 6-65. In reply Dave Leese (81) and Richie Jervis (73) dominated the Kidsgrove innings as the got over the victory line in the 54th over.</p>
<p>Caverswall are third after they were able to defend 109 against Eccleshall. In the second innings Eccleshall lost wickets at regular intervals, Nazakat Ali (6-18) was the main destroyer for Caverswall as they dismissed the home side for 72.</p>
<p>Weston beat Stafford by 67 runs away from home, after they won the toss and decided to bat. The away side were all out for 165, with runs throughout the batting line up, Mohammed Azam top scoring with 38, while Aparajit Khurana (5-66) claimed his second five wicket haul of the season. Stafford then never got going at 30-6 and were dismissed for 98, Phillip Stockton the pick of the bowlers with 5-18.</p>
<p>Kim Barnett (59no) and Adrian Myatt (41) set up a winning score for Bignall End as they beat Woore by 24 runs. Bignall End posted a total of 144-5 Barnett and Myatt being the main run scorers. In the second innings Usman Siddique then took 5-23 as Woore were bowled out for 120.</p>
<p>Gareth Rowe took his fourth five wicket haul of the season as Alsager restricted Rode Park &amp; Lawton to 87. Rowe then saw Alsager over the line with 25 not out, winning by five wickets.</p>
<p>Division Three</p>
<p>Bagnall extended their lead at the top over second place Oakamoor, when they beat Norton-In-Hales by three wickets. Asif Raza (7-17) claimed his fourth five wicket haul as they dismissed Norton-In-Hales who were all out for 63, James Ruscoe (30) the only batsmen to reach double figures. Bagnall then reached the target in the 21st over.</p>
<p>Oakamoor remain in second place after they lost for the second time in as many weeks against Forsbrook by two wickets. Oakamoor were put into bat, Muhammad Ayub couldn’t reach his fifth straight 50, top scoring with 49, he was supported by James Smith (40) as they posted 152. Fida Hussain then saw Forsbrook over the line with 48 not out.</p>
<p>Stone SP picked up the full 25 points against Crewe, winning by 80 runs. Jason Revill (63) was the mainstay of the innings for Stone SP as they set Crewe 153 to win; Shahid Mahboob was the pick of the bowlers for Crewe with 7-65. In reply no one really got going with the bat for Crewe and they were dismissed for 72.</p>
<p>Moddershall A beat Fenton by nine runs in a low scoring game. Only Richard Williams, 47 not out, put up any resitance against the Fenton attack as they were dismissed for 107, Chris Mellor and Eddie Plant both taking four wickets for Fenton. Williams then took 7-41 as Fenton were all out for 98.</p>
<p>Hanford sit bottom, as they were unable to chase down 82 against Wedgewood &amp; Stanfields. Mike Coxon took 7-37 as Wedgewood were reduced to 82 all out. Ramzan Mohammed claimed 6-25 in the second innings Hanford collapsed to 69 all out.</p>
<p>Church Eaton were also out cheaply against away at Endon. Michael Dawson took five wickets for the home side as Chrurch Eaton were dismissed for 68. Endon then passed the victory line in the 23rd over.</p>

<p>Premier League</p>
<p>Leek moved top of the table when they beat Knypersley at home by five wickets. They managed to restrict the away side to 145, Jonathon Cumberbatch hitting 62. Leek then chased down the total in the 53<sup>rd</sup> over, Chris Beech (56no) and Greg Willot (42no) seeing them over the line.</p>
<p>Stone won batting second beating Little Stoke by five wickets. Stone dismissed the home side for 156, David Womble and Matt Coxon both taking three wickets. In the second innings Womble finished on 59 not out as Stone reached the target in the 49<sup>th</sup> over.</p>
<p><span id="more-1633"></span>Porthill Park were beaten by three wickets by Longton as they were unable to defend 144. George Cairns (70) was the mainstay of the innings, while Craig Barker was the pick of the bowlers, claiming figures of 4-59. Longton’s number three Richard Holloway then guided his team to victory with 64 not out.</p>
<p>Checkley destroyed Burslem’s batting line up as they were all out for 22. Richard Cooper took figures of 6-14 and Jason Brown 3-5. They then reached the total in the 12<sup>th</sup> over with the loss of three wickets.</p>
<p>Craig Spearman’s century was the outstanding highlight when his Hem Heath side beat Wood Lane by six wickets. Batting first Wood Lane set the home side 145 to win, Deane Jervis top scored with 48 before he was run out. In reply Spearman dominated the innings and finished on 107 not out as Hem Heath eased past the target.</p>
<p>Cheadle beat Audley batting second by four wickets away from home as they were able to ease past the 137 runs required. Garry Park claimed figures of 4-43 and Marlon Martin took 3-19, while Amer Siddique top scored with 40 in the first innings. Cheadle then with the help of Shaun Jenkinson (61) passed the Wood Lane score in the 35<sup>th</sup> over.</p>
<p>Division One</p>
<p>Elworth beat Meakin, by six wickets when they dismissed the away side for 91.  Yasir Ali was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 4-49 and was supported by Mike Holt (3-10). David Toft (39no) then saw his side home in the 22<sup>nd</sup> over.</p>
<p>Leycett cruised to 110 run victory against Norton. Richard Walker’s 102 not out, set up the winning platform being supported by Hassan Haleem (51). Ali Kahn then took 6-40 to be the main destroyer for Leycett as Norton were dismissed for 113.</p>
<p>Sandyford picked up the full 25 points at home against strugglers Silverdale. The home side set Silverdale 175 with contributions throughout the innings. In the second innings Sohail Rauf and Mark Leese then took five wickets each as the away side were dismissed 82.</p>
<p>Blythe won batting second against Betley by four wickets. In the first innings Betley were restricted to 128 as Aqab Ahmed took figures of 4-36. In reply Simon Owen hit 58 while Blythe lost six wickets as they chased down Betley score successfully</p>
<p>Whitmore picked up 20 points away at Meir Heath, bowling out the home side for 135. Whitmore then reached their target with two wickets in hand in the 53<sup>rd</sup> over.</p>
<p>Barlaston  gained the winning draw at Moddershall as they couldn’t pick up the final three wickets. Tom Taylor (75) helped Barlaston reach 201-8 from their 55 overs. Taylor then picked up figures of 3-21 with Moddershall finishing on 138-7.</p>
<p>Division Two</p>
<p>Newcastle &amp; Hartshill picked up 25 points at home against Stafford as they top division two. The home side had starts throughout the batting lineup, with Andrew Whitehead top scoring with 53 not out, while Aparajit Singh Khurana was the pick of the bowlers with 6-74. In reply Stafford were dismissed for 132 as Muhammad Fayaz took 5-21.</p>
<p>Ashcombe were beaten by Alsager by five wickets as their batting crumbled. Only Rizwan Haider (31) and Phillip Clowes (26) reached double figures for Ashcombe as they were dismissed for 72. Gareth Rowe took 7-21. In the second innings Josh Johnson (3-29) was the only successful Ashcombe bowler as Alsager cruised to victory in the 23<sup>rd</sup> over.</p>
<p>Strugglers Oulton picked up their first win of the season when they beat Bignall End by four wickets. Oulton restricted the home side to 115 all out, Tom Berrisford top scoring with 43. In reply Oulton reached the target in the 39<sup>th</sup> over, Rob Spruce (47) was the mainstay of the innings.</p>
<p>Woore picked up 20 points against Caverswall as they were able to chase down142. Andrew Kenvyn took 5-38 as Woore bowled the home side out.  In reply Woore’s openers Andrew Burton (61) and Harry Oliver (51) got their team off to a great start with a 91 run partnership and Woore went on to win by seven wickets.</p>
<p>Weston dominated Rode Park &amp; Lawton and claimed 25 points. Weston won the toss and decided to bat and set a mammoth 228 to win for the home side with runs right through the line up. Rode Park &amp; Lawton were then dismissed for 61, Phillip Stockton taking 6-22.</p>
<p>Kidsgrove also won easily by 98 runs at home against Eccleshall. Kidsgrove reached 151-8 from their 55 overs and then reduced the away side to 53 all out,  Richie Jervis claimed figures of 8-30.</p>
<p>Division Three</p>
<p>Bagnall moved top of division three, as they beat Moddershall A by 120 runs. Colin Wilkinson (67) was the main run scorer for Bagnall as they set the away side 213 to win. Moddershall got off to the worst start possible at 3-2 and things didn’t get better as they were all out for 92, Asif Raza claiming 6-32.</p>
<p>Oakamoor slipped to second as they lost by two wickets against Stone SP. Muhammad Ayub hit 90 as Oakamoor declared on 187-4 after 53 overs. With the ball in the second innings the home side got off to a strong start with Stone at 26-2, but Michael Perry (86) Steadied the innings. With the score on 174-4 a flurry of wickets opened the game up once again but the visitors held on with two wickets in hand.</p>
<p>Norton-In-Hales picked up 25 points against Hanford, defending 176. Martin Rowley (58) was the mainstay of the innings for Norton-In-Hales being supported by John Woodfield (36). In reply Hanford lost wickets at regular intervals, Luke Claydon (4-30) taking out the middle order, as they finished on 161.</p>
<p>Fenton inflicted the first defeat of the season for Church Eaton, beating them by 73 runs. Fenton set the away side 169 to win, but they were all out for 95, Chris Mellor taking 5-43.</p>
<p>Crewe beat Endon batting second after they restricted them to 120-7, George Harding picking up 5-42. In reply Crewe lost early wickets but Mark Hurst (45no) saw them over the line with four wickets in hand.</p>
<p>Forsbrook gained  20 points after they dismissed Wedgewood &amp; Stanfields for 83 in the first innings, Andrew Jones was the pick of the bowlers with 5-35. Forbrook lost wickets regularly in their innings but reached the target for the loss of eight wickets.</p>

<p>Premier Division</p>
<p>After three games Porthill Park took themselves to the top of the table when they beat Little Stoke batting first by two runs. Porthill posted 142-7, John Hancock top scoring with 61 and Daniel Colclough the pick of the bowlers for the away side. Little Stoke then found themselves 140-8 and looking for victory, but they lost their last two wickets without scoring a run. Sohail Zaroof claimed figures of 5-55 and Peter Turnball (50) top scored.</p>
<p>Leek’s Greg Willott took 7-31 as his side beat Checkley away from home by six wickets. The home side managed to scramble to 75-9 from 43 overs, Willott taking out the top order. Leek opener Alex Mellor (40no) then saw his side over the line with Willott finishing 15no.<span id="more-1621"></span></p>
<p>Stone picked up 20 points at home after they managed to chase down Audley’s 106. Andrew Johnson (47) was the only Audley batsmen to pass 20, Calum Price was the pick of the bowlers for Stone with 4-26. The home side then reached the target in 35 overs.</p>
<p>Craig Spearman and John Cheadle centuries weren’t enough to set up a victory for Hem Heath against Cheadle. Hem Heath batted first and from their 55 overs reached 250-1, Spearman finishing 142no from 149 balls and John Cheadle hitting 102no from 145. Hem Heath then restricted Cheadle to 165-5, Shaun Jenkinson top scoring with 56.</p>
<p>Knypersley only managed to get a draw at home against Longton in a 25 over match. The home side reached a score of 162-2; Jake Thompson hit 60no and Nayyar Abbas smashing 53no off 21 balls. Longton were then reduced to 49-9, Abbas taking figures of 3-13 and Kevin Cockerton claiming 3-4.</p>
<p>There was no cricket played at Wood Lane against Burslem.</p>
<p>Division One</p>
<p>Meir Heath moved second when they were able to defend 73 by two runs against Meakin. Meir Heath were all out in the 31st over, Ranesh Perera taking 6-21. In reply Meakin were 65-7 but lost their last three wickets for six runs, Rich Brough claimed figures of 6-40.</p>
<p>Moddershall picked up the full 25 points away at Betley. It was lower order runs for Robert Bagnall (61) and Matt Goodwin (50) that helped Moddershall set 228-8. They then dismissed the home side for 209, the highlights of the innings were Chris Henderson’s 62 and Nasir Malik taking figures of 5-66.</p>
<p>Blythe beat travelled to Norton and took home 20 points in a low scoring affair. The home side were blown away for 63, Peter Finch and Tom Holdway taking four wickets each. Blythe then scrambled over the line with two wickets in hand.</p>
<p>Barlaston beat Sandyford by seven wickets after they dismissed them for 82 in the 42nd over. Mark Stanyer was the main destroyer with figures of 5-21. Ben Grange (50) was then dominant with the bat as they reached the target in the 26th over.</p>
<p>Whitmore got the winning draw against Leycett when they batted first and posted 188-8, Raj Kumar top scoring with 59. Hassan Haleem (62) then set up a good platform for Leycett but they were unable to reach the target and finished 172-5, Imran Arif was the pick of the bowlers with (5-55).</p>
<p>There was no play possible at Silverdale against Elworth.</p>
<p>Division Two</p>
<p>Ashcombe Park are top of division two after they beat Rode Park &amp; Lawton at home by 87 runs. David Proffitt top scored with 63 for the home side as they recorded 223-6 from their 55 overs. Rizwan Haider then took 5-41 as Ashcombe reduced the away side to136 all out, Steve Liburd putting up resistance with 51.</p>
<p>Newcastle &amp; Hartshill beat Weston by two runs, when they were able to defend 125. James Collett (55) and Simon Wood (46no) built the innings for Newcastle &amp; Hartshill. Weston looked to be in trouble at 49-7 but managed to rebuild 123-8, Gary Jennison hitting 50, but they lost their last two wickets without a run being scored. Sathpath Kelum was the pick of the bowlers with 6-41.</p>
<p>Woore picked up the full 25 points at home against Kidsgrove by two runs. Woore’s Andrew Kenvyn’s 57no helped set the away side 145 to win, but Mark Bengry claimed 6-37 as Kidsgrove fell two runs short.</p>
<p>Eccleshall also picked up the full amount of points at home against Alsager after late runs from Paul Cox (56) and Jack Boulton (46) helped the home side reach 139. Gareth Rowe took 5-37 for Alsager to restrict them to the total. In reply Alsager lost wickets at regular intervals, only Rowe (66) put up any resistance as they collapsed to 112 all out, Cameron Sinclair was the pick of the bowlers with 5-43.</p>
<p>There was no play possible at Oulton versus Caverswall and Stafford against Bignall End.</p>
<p>Division Three</p>
<p>Oakamoor moved to top of Division Three with the return of Muhammad Ayub who hit 83 and took figures of 4-25 as they picked up 25 points against Endon. Ayub moved Oakamoor’s innings along and they set Endon 153 to win. In reply only Daniel Bailey (30) was the only batsman to make double figures as they were dismissed for 82.</p>
<p>Simon Gordon’s 106no set up a win for Bagnall against Hanford. Gordon’s first innings knock was the difference between the two sides as Bagnall posted 170-8, Mike Coxon (6-76) was the pick of the bowlers. Hanford were then dismissed for 63, Asif Raza taking 5-31.</p>
<p>Forsbrook beat Norton-In-Hales by six wickets after they restricted them to 71. Sean Bowers claimed figures of 5-34. It Forsbrook 18.2 overs to reach the target Andrew Jones (17no) seeing them over the line.</p>
<p>There was no play possible at Meir Heath versus Crewe, Moddershall A versus Church Eaton and Stone SP against Wedgewood &amp; Stanfields.</p>

<p>Defending champions Wood Lane got their first win of the season against Checkley, beating them by five wickets. They restricted Checkley to 76, Asad Ali taking 4-39. It then took them 31.5 overs to reach their target, Daniel Brierly (26no) and Deane Jervis (7no) seeing them over the line.</p>
<p>Longton and Leek could only manage a draw. Longton were put in to bat and posted 145-4 from 34 overs, Stefan Ruduch top scoring with 49. In reply Leek only managed to bat 27.3 overs as they finished on 101-3, Alex Mellor finishing on 58no.<span id="more-1616"></span></p>
<p>A draw was also the result between Little Stoke and Knypersley. Little Stoke batted first and stuttered to 132-7 from their 55 overs, Greg Massingham (44) top scoring. Knypersley’s innings was cut short to 26 overs, as they finished on 54-1.</p>
<p>There was no play possible between, Audley and Porthill Park, Burslem and Cheadle, Hem Heath and Stone.</p>
<p>Division One</p>
<p>Elworth picked up the full 25 points against Barlaston as they defended 136. Alex Edmonstone (46) and Matthew Buckley (38no) were the mainstay of the Barlaston innings, Mark Stanyer (4-55) was the pick of the bowlers. Barlaston were then dismissed for 92, Yasir Ali took figures of 4-23.</p>
<p>Aqab Ahmed’s 76no wasn’t enough to prevent Blythe losing by eight wickets against Leycett. Tas Hussain took 4-59 as Blythe were reduced to 148-6. Leycett then reached the target in the 36th over, Richard Walker and Hassan Haleem both passing 50.</p>
<p>Whitmore and Meakin was abandoned in the second innings. Meakin were put in to bat and finished on 132-9, Imran Arif claiming figures of 5-44. The match was the abandoned in the first over of the second innings.</p>
<p>There was no play possible between, Meir Heath and Silverdale, Moddershall and Norton, Sandyford and Betley.</p>
<p>Division Two</p>
<p>Ashcombe Park picked up 20 points after they dismissed Eccleshall for 100. Josh Johnson and Rizwan Haider both taking four wickets. Ashcombe then knocked off the runs in the 23rd over, Haider smashing 61no off 59 balls.</p>

Stafford were then restricted to 125-7, the innings being built around Dave Foster (57no), the pick of the bowlers was Tom East as he took4-27.</p>
<p>There was no play possible between, Alsager and Woore, Bignall End and Weston, Kidsgrove and Oulton.</p>
<p>Division Three</p>
<p>Oakamoor comprehensively beat Fenton at home picking up 20 points. Matt Wolf demolished the away sides batting line up taking 5-20, the only resistance was Phil Hall’s 35no as Fenton were dismissed for 58. In reply Oakamoor passed the winning line in the 29th over for the loss of two wickets.</p>
<p>Crewe also won batting second after they reduced Moddershall A to 104 all out; Shahid Mahboob was the main wicket taker with 4-48. Crewe lost seven wickets on their way to victory Mahboob top scoring with 30.</p>
<p>Asif Raza efforts weren’t enough to save his Bagnall side from defeat against Church Eaton. Raza took 8-57 in the second innings, but Church Eaton managed to hold on and win by one wicket as they chased down Bagnall’s 103. Matt White also took 5-50 in the first innings for the Church Eaton.</p>
<p>There was no play possible between, Hanford and Forsbrook, Wedgewood &amp; Stanfields and Endon. Norton-In-Hales and Stone did manage to get 31.4 overs in before the rain hit.</p>
