For the 2011 season, ECB fast-bowling and fielding directives are applicable to all players born after 31st August 1991. It does not refer to the player's age on the day of the match.

Allowances:
Age Group - Max overs in a spell - Max overs per DAY
Up to 13 - 5 overs - 10 overs
U14, U15 - 6 overs - 12 overs
U16, U17, U18, U19 - 7 overs - 18 overs
There is a further recommendation: no young fast bowler should bowl more than four days in a
seven day period. Furthermore, such bowlers should not bowl on more than two consecutive days.
